You know, after leaving Scraft and going to Eastern, I really thought I would be done with volleyball. I was burnt out from the season and assumed I was ok with letting go. Of course, I missed it like crazy after a year of not playing.
Well, I can't go back and relive my "glory days", so now I coach! :) It's stressful a lot of times, but it's also a lot of fun. I've met a ton of different people and it's nice to stay busy. Parents aren't always the easiest thing to deal with, but a lot of times, they're really great and caring people. I just have to remember to have a thick skin, and that I can't always please everyone.
Anyway, this week it pretty full with volleyball and Bryan isn't too happy...
I'm coaching a travel team. We have practice twice a week for 3 hours each and then 1-2 tournaments a month starting in January. But, I volunteered to help out in tryouts for the local team on Saturday and also volunteered to fill in for an adult league on Friday. So that's volleyball Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Ahhhh well... last day of work before the weekend! Woo! I don't want to stay out incredibly late tonight, but I wouldn't mind going and getting a beer. Tim's bday party on Saturday...
And that's about it...
